| Deborah McCarroll
is president and owner of Studio Pacific, located in Seattle, WA. McCarroll
has been designing for over 20 years, specializing in branding, image
development and public affairs image positioning in both print and e-media. McCarroll has vast experience in regional design, having held positions on three coasts, serving as Senior Designer, Art Director and Creative Director in Houston, Boston and Seattle, respectively. Her work has been exhibited in the Smithsonian's Museum of Flight, having been the first woman to be chosen to design the prestigious Spaceweek promotional poster for Houston's Johnson Space Center, as well as producing insignias for three of NASA's Space Shuttle missions. She founded the award winning design firm Studio Pacific in 1993. An accomplished painter, Deborah McCarroll has been painting and exhibiting her expressive and diverse paintings for more than two decades. McCarroll's vibrant, acrylic canvasses frequently utilize distressed gold and copper leafs. Text is often incorporated into the compositions resulting in thought-provoking, lyrical abstractions.
